I had a rifle that was zeroed. I had a gunsmith install a free float rail on it which required removal of the barrel. I have precisely 15 rounds of my favorite ammo to sight it in (what it was originally zeroed for), and maybe 20 rounds of my second favorite ammo (almost identical POI). I guess I'm asking, how much of a POI shift do you generally get when you remove and reinstall the same barrel? If it is generally only off by a little bit, then I should have plenty of ammo to sight it in which I intend to do next week. ![]() |
