I had a rifle that was zeroed. I had a gunsmith install a free float rail on it which required removal of the barrel. I have precisely 15 rounds of my favorite ammo to sight it in (what it was originally zeroed for), and maybe 20 rounds of my second favorite ammo (almost identical POI). My 1000 round back order was delayed, and will not ship in time for cola warrior.

I guess I'm asking, how much of a POI shift do you generally get when you remove and reinstall the same barrel? If it is generally only off by a little bit, then I should have plenty of ammo to sight it in which I intend to do next week.

I just did the same a few days ago and mine was about an inch low and an inch right at 100 yards.
