I've been planning on building an "M16" lookalike AR15 for a while now and I just came across this: http://www.fnhusa.com/l/products/carbines/fn-15-series/fn15-rifle
I've been considering just buying one since I'm not exactly rich so I wouldn't have the money to really sink into this hobby for a while but my concern is that it's "mil-spec." (I know there's controversy about that term, but it's more of a quality-control issue for me.) For context, I'm considering this over the Stag Model 4. https://www.stagarms.com/model-4/ The reason for the M16 lookalike is because I'm a history major and I like "historical replicas" so having an modern AR15 that looks like one they might have used in Vietnam is cool for me. ~Thanks! |
