| Which one is the best all around rifle? What are the pros and cons of each? |
| The recon will be more of an all around rifle. The SPR means special purpose, which is long range precision. Recon will do both, precision and up close. Not that the spr can't shoot up close obviously but the typical recon scope can be zoomed out to 1x. If you put a high powered scope on a recon with a good barrel it will do everything the spr can. |

I'd build the Reece and have a nice variable scope and a red dot both in qd return to zero mounts. That way you can pick what optic you wanna put on for what you intend to do that day. The 16" barrel is perfectly adequate for the capabilities of the 223/556 caliber.

NightForce NXS compact? |
