I have an LMT lower I'd like to match an upper to.  I keep seeing these LMT mrp models that allow
barrels to be changed out-I don't particularly want that I just want a standard 14.5" pinned upper.
Does LMT make what I'm looking for?

Yes.  Look for a Defender upper.

Take a look at lmt web site.

Your going to have to send it somewhere to have it pinned and welded.

It won't be the MRP chassis.  Depending on how you want to use it, the barrel change feature can be very useful.  If you hunt medium size game just throw a 6.8 SPC barrel on it and go.  If you want a 300 BLK just get the barrel rather than a completely new upper.  The barrels change out in about 2 minutes

Do people actually still buy much from Rainier now that we've long been in a buyer's market, and yet they still price most of their products like we're still in a post panic market?

It's honestly something I've pondered for months now.

They're good people and a good company, but their prices on a lot of stuff shock me.

Well, they are priced identically to Bravo Company, who would you recommend?
