Hope I'm not asking something that has been answered a thousand times but here it goes.

Is the bcg on a slickside the same bcg you would have on a regular upper?

If you were to swap out the slickside upper with a standard would everything work like it should?

Some of the BCGs that are used in slickside uppers are missing the cutouts that the forward assist uses to push the BCG forward. If you were to use one of those BCGs with an upper with a forward assist, the forward assist wouldn't work.

You can see the top BCG is missing the slots the forward assist engages to push the BCG forward-

Thanks for the replies.  Luckily this bcg appears to have the notches for forward assist.

Thanks again.
