Or CMT?

ETA: I'm pretty sure he means James Madison Tactical's polymer lowers. .

James Madison Tactical, they make 80% polymer lowers.

They make 80% plastic lowers.

I think that is all they make, too

read some where else that out of the poly options JMT is rising to the top.

Why anybody continues to use polymer lowers that replicate the dimensions of forged aluminum lowers is beyond me.

You can have a COMPLETE stripped forged aluminum lower if you look around for $60.  I think the 80% aluminum lowers are a little more.

Why buy that and when you can get one for same price in both in aluminum and Polymers. I know it has no serial number but you can buy a used lower and there goes to that problem.

I saw the JMT comes with the jig. I wouldn't have to spend an extra $200 on a jig.

As far as the used lower goes, I want to build a pistol. You can't use used lower on a pistol unless it was originally from a pistol or has never been registered as a rifle.

The damn thing is still polymer.  Why not go with a forged aluminum 80% lower?

Because I don't own a jig. Most jigs i've seen are $150-$300.

You will find little love for the plastic lower here.

You seem set to buy it, if the price is right then give it a shot.

I don't get the whole 80% desire, with the price of forged lowers just north of 50 bucks you can certainly get a pistol lower together relatively cheap.

Good luck with your project
