I bought the PSA CMV CL Upper with BCG. The BCG looks almost gun metal gray is that normal on the PSA carriers? Top is PSA bottom MP15

Pretty soon it'll have a bunch of silver streaks on it, unless you just take pictures of it and worry about its color.  Oil it up and take it for a spin.

Don't know if it's normal but that is what my BCG from PSA looks like (grey). It came with the CMV CL upper.

The different ones they carry are different colors.  I have had grey and black.  Did they give info on the specs for that one?

Bolt carrier Group:  For AR15 and M16 rifles and carbines.  Made by a mil-spec contractor, these feature a Carpenter 158 Bolt, and a full profile chrome lined carrier.  Bolt is made of shot-peened, Mil-spec Carpenter 158® steel. The park job can end up a variety of colors and shades depending on chemicals used, time etc.  It does not mean there is a problem.  A gray park job doesnt mean low quality steel was used or anything like that.  In fact you can turn the black park gray pretty easy with some naval jelly. So youre fine and remember park color is not an indicator of quality. Go take it for a spin!
