So I finally got my Home Defense build accomplished, for the most part anyway. After looking at everybody else's and wishing I'd started sooner, my AR is finally done.
I wanted something nice, not a bare bones model.
I still need an optic, Aimpoint Pro probably.

Get some electronic ear muffs to keep next to the gun, the comp kill your ears indoors!(if you have to use it, hopefully not)
