[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bolt catch spring

So i received my stripped upper today and decided to assemble upper and lower. Well the bolt catch spring is missing. Is it going to matter if i assemble the lower and leave bolt catch off? I dont mean permanently just till a spring kit arrives. Also it will not be fired i dont have barrel, gas system and handguard yet.

You can put the bolt catch in later. There isn't anything that will get in your way.

Thats what i thought thanks. To fight the ocd ill just have to wash my hands repeatedly till spring kit arrives.
