New member here though I've been lurking for quite awhile. My rifle is very accurate, to me, I do a lot of bench shooting and hunting with my AR. So my question is what trigger to upgrade to in the 200 dollar range, it still has the factory trigger, not a bad trigger but a heavy one. Look  forward to your responses.

Can't beat a Geissele SSA-E for an awesome two-stage trigger that works well off the bench and in the field.

Slightly more than $200, but worth it.

Love the CMCs I've shot. They fit your budget.

I run this Timney in my Bushy and love it.  I shoot both off the bench and off hand.  My dad has the same unit in a DPMS and his has just the slightest bit of creep/take-up, but mine breaks like glass.  I've never measured the weight, but I ordered the three pound version and it only seems the slightest bit heavier than my deer rifle which I know to be in the 2.5 pound neighborhood so I'd guess their factory setup is pretty accurate as far as pull weight goes.

I'm leaning toward a Geissele just real unsure of which model.

More sniper like or more CQB like. How do you envision using it. Your answer is somewhere in between, and hopefully not in between. SSA or SSA-E. Both are good triggers.

The SSA's and SSA-E's are both pretty awesome. I can't tell a lot of difference between the two.

My SSA is plenty crisp and light enough for anything I'm gonna do with it. If I was bench-resting only, then the SSA-E or High Speed.

Something else to consider is single stage or two stage trigger?  For accuracy I prefer a two stage hands down.  There are others however who prefer a good single stage trigger.

I have 3 SSA-Es and 1 SSA.
The Bushy A4 clone has a SSA-E and the Bushy M4 clone has the SSA.

If I'm scared enough of something to point a rifle at it, a little heavier trigger isn't a bad idea.  Go with the SSA for social purposes.

As most of you know, the GEISSELE triggers DON'T go on sale. I'm pretty sure that the prices are set by the factory.
The SSA-E is listed EVERYWHERE on the internet for $230.
In a weird spin however, PSA has a lower parts kit which includes the SSA-E on sale for $219.99.
Palmetto State Armory LPK-E Lower Parts Kit
Get $10 off the trigger and some free spare parts for your AR lower at the same time.

Great choice.  Take a few minutes and watch Bill Geissele's YouTube video installation instructions. Then in only a few minutes you'll have made the swap and be ready to enjoy what a difference a good trigger makes.  This has been the single best upgrade I have made to that rifle.
