I'm wanting to put a new stock on my Ar and I'm tossed up between 2 different stocks.
I was hoping you guys that have some experience with them could tell me the pros or cons of each one.
the first is a Magpul ACS and the second is a veltor emod. They both appear to be decent but have no experience with either
Thanks for the help.

I'm going to say ACS just because the guy above me said VLTOR  ............. In all reality you can't really go wrong with either.  I have an ACS on 2 build.  I put the enhanced butt pad on them and they have the perfect LOP for me.

Neither, Go with the magpul UBR.. the ACS and SOPMOD are too bulky. I liked the ACS for it storage but man that's a lot of stock...

If you have facial hair (i don't) the VLTOR is pretty rough to use supposedly.  Also, the EMOD and ACS are pretty damn big (which is a major turn off for me) and VLTOR didn't lock up particularly well on the tube for me (this was on a bushy so i don't know who to blame for that).  I like sopmods and CTRs personally.  Maybe an STR?  Out of those 2 choices I would probably get the ACS... it just feels a little better than the EMOD IMO.

You're looking at longer/heavier stocks. If you're trying to counter-weight a heavy barrel or something, cool.

Personally, I like imods and sopmods.

I had an STR that wasnt bad, but it was way heavier than it needed to be.

I'd love the UBR but don't know I can justify the extra $150

Where you finding them for $150?

Market price seems to be around $250.

An additional $150 on top of the $100 I'd spend on the Vltor or Acs

I don't mind the size of my ACS stock. I love the cheek weld I get on it. Go magpul and yes I'm a fanboy

That LMT sopmod is one comfortable feeling stock. It just feels like it was custom made to fit your cheek.
