Does anyone make them?  The way I see it, if I could get some of these, attaching almost anything to a keymod rail would be easy.

So where do you get some?

I would start by asking the folks at whatever website you found the picture of the giant pile of keymod nuts.

Maybe they would know.

Lol! It's an image from a keymod Facebook page.  I've tried asking them and I get nothing.  The Facebook page isn't very active. You would think someone would carry something.. I looked on CMMG's website and found nothing

We are not 100% set up for individual KeyMod nuts, yet.

Give us a month or 2 and we can take and fill an order for them, unless you want 500 or more of them we can do that now.

Actually that's not true. We  phoned to buy some as a manufacturer of rails and hand guards and you would not sell them to us until have have our FFL done. Not sure what key mod nuts has to do with a lower or a suppressor.

I'll see what I can do about that, that has to do with how we define "OEM" eligible customers to our sales team.

We had an associate FFL dealer of ours who also makes rails like us, call your dealer line and they said "you were not releasing them yet". So.......what is that all about? If you guys want a monopoly until someone else starts making them just say so I mean if they make rails to fit key mod nuts, is that not OEM? Who decides what is and what is not OEM? All AR parts are a clone unless there is a patent that says you need permission.

I am down for this. I purchased a keymod light mount with three holes but it only came with two keymod nuts. I would like a 3rd.

First off I apologize for the difficulty you seem to be running into.

A few things to help everyone understand our Dealer sales is a exactly that, they are not OEM or retail sales. I assume when your associate called dealer sales, dealer sales assumed they where looking for our upcoming RKM hand guards and KeyMod accessories, which have not been fully released yet. We've been a OEM supplier of KeyMod nuts for nearly a year now. If your a company looking for a supplier for parts [email protected] is who you want to talk to. I promise I will work with them to create better fitting guidelines as to who and what qualifies as an OEM customer vs. Dealer customer.

I saw a link on AR15NEWS.COM of a place online to get the keymod locknuts, but since seeing it I cannot find it.

I'd like some, so I can fabricate some flush handgrips down my forend.

I'm in! I'm working on a Tier-1 Skittles container that attaches directly to a Keymod rail... and before anyone mentions it, I keep M&Ms in my SOPMOD battery compartments so those locations are unavailable.

Those nuts would make it so easy to attach a picatinny rail to a keymod handguard.

That's awesome, I was wondering where the rails go on these newfangled forends.

Okay...I'm really slow on the uptake.

I've gathered this is a new method of attaching things to the new and special handguard. Which is a good looking unit, btw. But how does it work and what are the advantages?

It works by attaching either picatinny rails to the hand guard (meaning you only put them where you need them), or attaching "middle man" pieces that go directly from your gear/equipment to the Keymod holes (Surefire adapters, QD sling adapters, etc.). Some advantages are weight savings and not having meat grinders on all sides of your upper.

Thank you. That's pretty much what I was thinking. Slip the device into the hole and slide it forward. I just didn't see what locked it in  place. Just as simple as tightening a screw or two or three.

Most of the time I live under a pretty big rock and the world just passes me by.

There is a much more simple nut that replaces the current multi-piece keymod system floating around out there.

How does it keep the rail/mount/device from sliding on the Keymod system? Got a pic or link?

I have a picture of it in my head...

It's a one piece unit, that is reverse threaded, I believe the item being attached is threaded also however. I can't for the life of me, remember where I saw this widget though.
