| Does anyone know if BCM makes a upper receiver WITHOUT the forward assist, they don't show it on there website but that doesn't mean they don't |

No they don't. BCM only makes stuff good enough to use in Combat. I love BCM as much as the next guy.....but lol. Lol indeed. I got a good laugh out of that comment as well. So DPMS LPK's are combat ready? Good to know. AFAIK, BCM doesn't make anything. They spec parts to their standards and assembles them. |

Let me re-phrase that......"Stuff they put their name on" Seriously though. Why would BCM, a company known for battle tested rifles that meat or exceed Military Specifications put their name on a upper without a forward assist? |

Simple answer....because they could sell it and make $$. They use stainless barrels....are they mil-spec? Nope, didn't think so. Also, I own a SS410 upper as well as 4 other uppers of theirs so I don't dislike them. |

I'd take some CMMG Tactical Bacon into combat any day. Sorry, couldn't resist. When/if the market has a high demand for slick side uppers, I wouldn't be surprised if BCM starts selling them... with a bigger white logo plastered on them cause of the available real estate. |

The only upper reciever that I know of that doesn't have a forward assist on it is the S&W Sport ARFCOM is available without one... https://store.ar15.com/product.html?cat=46&pr=671 |
