I recently installed a free float quadrail and had to remove the gas block to do so,  My Ar has a low pro gas block, and while taking it off I stripped one of the set screws. I had to drill it out to get the gas block off. My question is, is it ok to run with 1 set screw or should trash it and buy a new gas block. Thanks for any help.

Better to replace it. The screws were most likely secured with loctite, that's why it stripped. If your barrel is dimpled or has flats to accommodate  the screws, try and replace the block with one that has screw locations that match the old one.

After removing the gas block it doesn't appear the barrel has any flat spots. I plan on replacing it but was more wondering if this one would possibly get me buy until the new one arrives.

It may function, but it is better to distribute the force and tension required by the screws in order to properly secure the block. Also, this will help to create a better seal. Using only one screw will require additional torque to try and ensure that it doesn't move. And even then, it might still move once the metal expands due to heat generated during firing. Personally, I would replace it before my next range trip.

Can you re-tap the hole just a little larger ?? if so you will need to do both holes the same size or did you damage it to much ??

Sent it out to be pinned in place. The chances that you misalign it, or that it comes loose, are just too great.

Sure, shoot it until the new one comes in. If it does loosen up the least that you'll have is a single shot AR.
