So I can't really find anything online about the differences between these two triggers. Can you guys tell me if the ACT is worth $20 extra than the ACT?

One is Nickle Boron Coated, one is not.

I have an ACT, but will be buying QMS from now on.

That's what I figured, thanks for the reply.

Well I have a trigger from a PSA LPK from 2 years ago that is nicer than the ACT.
Now I understand that is not typical, I got lucky with a nice stock trigger.

So buying a QMS should guarantee you dont get a crap trigger, and for $45 thats ok with me.
Neither are significant upgrades so why pay more.

I have both. The ACT has a smoother pull than the QMS, but they both feel nice, better than any stock trigger I've had experience with.

Comparing the two together, the QMS is heavier, and not quite as silky-smooth as the ACT, which is why I bought an ACT.  If $20 makes a huge difference to you, go with the QMS, but remember that you'll be getting a "quality, MIL-SPEC" FCG, and not even an extra-smooth one.

Just go with the QMS. In my experience and many others, the QMS is actually the better trigger. I don't know if it's the NiB coating or what but it actually as a longer reset.

The QMS trigger is an upgrade over the stock trigger that comes with parts kits. Every trigger I ever got was gritty, had a lot of play and just felt like crap. Getting the QMS insures you a good mil-spec trigger every time. No grittiness, no play and a crisp pull. At $45 there is no reason not to get it. In fact, I have no idea why anyone still buys complete LPK's when they can just get a parts kit minus the fire control group for $35 and the QMS for $45. The total cost for a LPK with a good trigger is $80. No need to buy complete LPK's anymore and play the trigger game.

The hammer is actually NICKLE TEFLON not nickle boron.  It is softer than boron. Both good triggers I suppose.  But I saved the money.  Not as much a believer in the nickle teflon.  Probably wouldn't go WRONG either way.  Pretty good trigger.

Edit to clarify I saved the money and went with the uncoated version.  I like it.

I have the ACT and the Spike's Battle Trigger (as well as two SSA FCGs).  The ACT is much crisper than the Spike's, the Spike's having more creep than the ACT.  The ACT feels lighter too, but I have not weighed the pull on either.

I also had to hit the trigger bow of the Spike's with some 400-grit sandpaper as it was way too slick.
