Do they both come with sights?

if they are both equal in accessories, the palmetto seems to get decent respect and you would have an extra few hundred for an aimpoint or eotech, mags etc.

Maybe someone that has a palmetto will disagree but I think their stuff is good quality.

Owning both I would say get the PSA and use the extra money for optics. I've not any differance between the rifles, in fact the finish on my PSA was better than my 6920 (had a couple nicks in it).

The biggest issue is can you get a rifle from PSA right now?? I ain't seen any like that in months. I bought mine real-time pre Newtown at a LGS

Get the Colt it will always retain it's value.  As far as rifles both will serve you very well it's all on what you want!!

The Colt will always be worth more down the road. Simply because more people know the name. If you don't see yourself selling it, than maybe the Colt isn't worth it to you. It would be to me, I also would be looking at Spikes and BCM long before PSA, but that is me.

If the Colt is in stock and you can take it home today, I'd get it. However, if you left it and your area is anything like mine, it's already gone. Colt's at our Walmart don't make it our of their shipping boxes before they are being rung up. Also, if it's there, you can inspect it before you take it home.

I say get the Colt. PSA ARs are fine ARs, but being able to put the Colt in your hands at time of purchase is a huge bonus. Especially since you are only talking about a $300 difference.

It's been like that here up until this month, damn if I didn't swing by today and they had 3 colt socoms and 1 6920 and a few bushwackers........getting better everyday!!  Wont be long and everything will be in stock, if it's a high value item it'll at least come and go much more frequently then the last 5 months of hell..........I'm holding out till fall and going on a frenzy

Colt! Bro its not because I drink the KoolAid either. I own both. There is a difference. I love my Colts, if my PSA went away tomorrow I would give two shits. Save the dough and make the plunge, you will own that firearm for the rest of your life.

PSA and take a class.  If you want to put it on your wall, under indirect lighting, and join the pony club get a Colt.  I have a 6920.  It is nice but functions no differently.  If you want a "Flipper" get the Colt.  Paint covers most of my roll marks anyway.

Really, both are fine choices. Myself, I like midlength gas so went with BCM, Daniel Defense and PSA uppers over the years. My PSA upper has an FN barrel and a BCM BCG. It's good to go and at a great price.

If you want carbine length gas the LE6920 is about as good as it gets.

Add $100 bucks and get both a nice rifle and optics....

I agree.  The Colt will retain it's value longer.  That's the one I would buy.
