| Im starting a build on a SPR/Recce-ish upper build. I am not buying another lower at this time, so this upper needs to be compatible to run smoothly/reliably with a lower with a buffer weight for a carbine. I have a concern that if I run an 18" barrel with rifle gas with a carbine set-up buffer that I will have the issue of bolt bounce. So is there a buffer weight that is a happy medium? A weight that will run reliably and smooth for both 14.5" carbine and an 18" rifle? or should I go with mid-length for the 18"? |
