After spending a few days on here looking around I finally decided to create an account. I purchased my first AR back in mid December (before Sandy Hook). I guess I can say that I am lucky that I pulled the trigger when I did due to all of the panic buying that has followed since the shooting. I picked up a CORE 15 TAC M4 and so far I love it. I put an EOtech sight, Magpul fore grip, Surefire Fury and an Aimshot 8000 series laser on it. Being an new to the AR platform this forum has provided me with a lot of advice and ideas.

Nice! I spent some time with the CORE travelling Sales Rep when they visited my local FFL. I like what he had to say about specs and tolerances and their products had extremely good fit and finish. If I were you, I would consider ditching the laser and getting the light moved more to the front (to reduce barrel shadow). IWC sells a great light mount for your application.
