Headed to a gun show tomorrow. I want to bring along my incomplete rifle (no upper parts except for a stripped upper receiver).

I'm not going to run into any legal problems right. I don't want someone calling me out on having an SBR by not having a barrel. Do I need to disassemble it?

Picture for reference.

You'll be fine. An SBR has to have a barrel less than 16", you don't have a barrel at all.

You will run into problems. Send me the parts for proper disposal.

You are fine.  It is a incomplete parts gun.
