| I bought THIS barrel from PSA and it didn't come drilled for a FSB on the bottom, meaning I can only use a clamp on block now. Is that supposed to be that way? |

Damn, thanks guys. Now I need a new barrel, ADCO is backed up as it is so that would take too long. Anyone have any 14.5/14.7in barrels in stock? (Any style other than HBAR) Why do you need a new barrel? Do you have a FSB that needs to be installed? I would just put a set screw gas block and shoot it as is until things calm down. If properly installed they don't move. |

(Any style other than HBAR) you dont need a new barrel, if it was drilled, and you have a FSB that is drilled, they wouldnt fit anyway, they are drilled at the same time. |

I was under the impression that all taper pins on FSB were the same specs? (I have an A1 Slick Side upper and Non-F Marked FSB I wanted to use the barrel with) |

Some guys have gotten lucky, but it is very uncommon to get lucky and have a new FSB fit a barrel that has already been drilled for a FSB from the factory. |

The FSB would come with predrilled pilot hole for each pin. A fixture would hold the FSB on the barrel in the correct placement. A pilot hole is then dilled on the edge of the barrel. A taper pin reamer is then used through both pieces. There is not a exact depth set for how far you go which makes for a variation and each barrel/FSG slightly different.
Put a lopro on or purchase a barrel with a FSB preinstalled. |

You bought a Mid length gassed barrel- you can't put an Aframe gas block on them! They are made for low profile blocks! It pays to read !Apparently you are the one who needs to brush up on their reading skills. Gas block compatibility is limited by the journal size on the barrel; bull barrel (.936" diameter), standard (.750" diameter) and lightweight (.625" diameter). Use of an A2 or F marked front sight base depends on the application; obviously a FSB cannot fit under a handguard, but can be used on a barrel with carbine, midlength, intermediate, or rifle length gas systems as long as the proper length gas tube is used. | Ha, I wish I would have gotten my barrel from PSA without a FSB attached. Then I could have sent it to ADCO to have them install the FSB correctly. PSA is a company with super shitty customer service. The barrel they sent me has a canted FSB that allows for almost zero windage adjustment. Whoever drilled the barrel and installed the FSB must have taken 5 Adderall, and shot a spoon of smack, before getting to their work bench to "drill" my barrel... |

(Any style other than HBAR) Where did you hear that? Last I saw BigBore post, he said, "We are still turning around 95% of all shop work in about week or less.". How is that backed up or too long? Send it to ADCO /thread
