I zeroed my Eotech sight at 50 yards on a day with very little wind using xm855 ammo.  Today, I shot two ten shot groups using mk262 mod 1 ammo out at 100 yards.  No wind today either.  My group with the greeen tips was dead on at 50 yards, but both groups of mk262 mod 1 were to the left at about 1-2 inches at 100 yards.  Does it sound like I need to recheck my zero, or could the two types of ammo really shoot this far apart windage wise?  Thanks.

Are you zeroing with a shooting sled? Perhaps it is a combination of the zero not being 100% and the ammo as well.

I zeroed with a sandbag rest.

Likely different ammo. Also any slight errors are enhanced at distance. I always need a couple of clicks fine tuning at 200 after zeroing at 50. Of course my xps would wander up to 4moa from time to time.

where did the 855 shoot @ 100?

if it was even a 1/2" left of dead nuts @ 50, thats 1" @ 100... now you are using much better ammo capable of sub-moa groups

in short, yes the ammo can shoot different, and you are comparing apples and oranges in regards to your zero

I will recheck my zero with the green tips.  Another excuse to shoot.

Likely the difference in ammo. Something as simple as changing brands of primers in handloads can change POI and group size.

Poi difference between loads, totally normal. No need to recheck shit.  Your shooting a totally different breed of ammo. It's no question as to it shooting differnt.
