| Curious about DSA bcg and their spec's. Yesterday in the morning I was looking online for bcg's and found some at Rainier that seemed to be in stock but I did not order. Later in the day I went back to Rainier's web sight and they were listed as out of stock. Then begain looking around and found one at DSA which seemed to be in stock so I orderd it. However it did not clearly reveal the spec's. Wondering if anyone has used them and if they would allow me to order base on them being in stock, then tell me later that it's back ordered. Hope this makes sense have trouble getting what's in my head on paper. Thank's for any response. gh |

Gehart, my experience with DS Arms has been as follows:
August 20, I ordered a complete ZM4 A3 Upper receiver, with the barrel and whole nine yards; a charging handle; and complete Zm4/AR15 Complete Bolt Group Assy-put it on a credit card purchased online. As usual, I received instant email confirmation that order was being processed. 30 minutes later I received another email, "Sorry but the whole works is on backorder. Weeks passed, so I emailed them, evoking my invoice number, very polite. No Answer. Called about 4 days later, was told they were 8-12 weeks behind.Did some quick math and worst case that was October. October 1, received box! Upper assembly was all there, charging handle was there, but the packing slip indicated that the Bolt Carrier Group is on backorder! I posted this story here a month ago, and some nice folks suggested I try Core 15. So I did and I got their BCG within a week. I have called DS Arms 3 times and now I just get a recording, left messages to no avail! No response. At least they havn't charged me for it either, so that is a plus in their favor. But I was building this one up for my daughter, so she could become proficient prior to entering the USAF. She reported for BMT on Nov.6, so she is now about to graduate! So that is my experience with DSA.
