| I've spent the cash on a Surefire MB556k before.. now I'd like to see what the cheapest comp/brake is around. Need to go with brake/comp for CT, otherwise I'd just keep the A2 on.. So what are some of the least expensive options? |

There's a no name one on Amazon from FSI, ~$25. Who knows about it's quality though.
Have you considered the Yankee Hill Phantom? It's not a brake, but it does direct the concussion very well, and keeps the front end a little more stable than an A2. They run about $30 online, or $22 through Brownells if you have the discount account. |

Device has good reviews, several YouTube videos and a write up on Vuurwapen Blog. Spike's DynaComp, mounted to a 16" midlength works well, noise complaints from bystanders but the noise never bothers me. More expensive The other break / comp I have owned was a YHM 5M1, not expensive and worked fine |
