I started a thread about a DD flash hider issue and it morphed from there to me berating, belittleing, and in general being a complete and total jerk to a lot of folks that didn't deserve it and were trying to be helpful . I was completely ouy of line and very much regret my actions. I'm here to formally apologize to the herd. I'm very sorry. I will act like the adult I am in the future. I apologize to the mod who had to step in and delete some of the things I said. Replies are not necessary.

A real man can admit when hes wrong its not a sign of weakness and in some circles and cultures not appologizing for a wrong can mean a beating or worse...its not a weakness when your wrong and its on a man to man leverl...now appologizing when its your countries foreign policy to do so making our enemnies want to hurt us more yea thats a mistake on that level...but not man to man...so a few years back when an idiot with a few too many under his belt said the wrong thing to my wife..yea him apologizing after I had words with him saved him '6 2" 275lbs of a real bad night for him..appologizing didnt make the asshole weak it made him a man wanting to escape the beating so he did the right thing.

My hats off to Matt B, I believe, who smaked me upside the head with common sense and logic, and in my opinion, kept me from hanging myself any further.
Talked with Jeff at DD and it's all going to be taken care of. Interestingly, when I metioned the grip, he said he had the same issue with his personal weapon. Apparently sometimes the MIAD and DD lowers don't play nice together. He also informed me that they recently let some folks go at DD. Could very well explain the other stuff. Brett at Greyghost said the same thing before I ever talked to Jeff, and he was just trying to think it through. I'm incredibly pleased with DD and highly recommend them. And for anyone in the central Virginia area, Greyghost Tactical is GTG. |
