What does this mean exactly. I have seen a couple magazines that are marked on the side like this

Restricted Military
Gov/Law Enforcement
/Export use only  

They are made by Okay Ind.  Were they only for overseas use or what the deal?  Thanks

It has to do with the expired assault weapons ban, mostly nothing nowadays.

Not unless you live in NY, CA, MA, NJ, and a handful of other places.

It depends where you live would dicate legal ownership. The marking is done during the awb

Not unless you live in NY, CA, MA, NJ, and a handful of other places.


You can own them in CA. It could be used as parts to rebuild an older magazine that was possessed prior to the CA magazine restriction law.

The markings were mandated during the now expired federal assault weapons law. Legal to own unless your local laws dictate otherwise.
