On my latest build, the little prong of the ejection port cover spring that is normally wedged against the upper receiver and provides the tension to keep the cover flat against the receiver when the cover is open has somehow worked its way to the the other side the cover (when opened) so as to allow the cover to flop when open. Any suggestions? I had this happen before and was able to bend it back inside but this one seems pretty stubborn. I'd rather not mess with removing the c-clamp. I can't move the cover pin far enough forward to expose it because of the Centurion rails.

The only way to do anything without scratching the shit out of the receiver is to pull the c-ring.

Take it apart inside of a plastic bag.

once its apart, you can do a 601 style fix and drill a small hole in the upper for the spring leg to go in.
