Ordered a few parts, package was delivered. Upon inspection the buffer spring I ordered had a ~30 degree bend in it about 5 coils in. I don't think it will cause any issues. I installed the bent end opposite the buffer. Thoughts?

You will be fine.  The spring is going to be compressed inside, it won't affect anything since it can't really lay any way but straight.

Worst case is buffer tube wear.

I would replace it on general principle.
I would surmise it may cause wear issues in the long run.

I wouldn't use it. Send it back or buy another one. Its maybe a $5 part.

Others and I have used bent buffer springs and bent guide rod springs for handguns for years without issue.  The spring is nearly fixed in place once it's in, it's going to work just fine.

If you want to send it back, and likely get another bent one in the mail, go ahead.  Walk into most gun shops and the springs are all tangled up and bent in zip lock bags.  Bare in mind the spring is not compressed when it's not in your gun, once it's compressed in a tight tube, it ain't going anywhere but back and forth.

I emailed BCM about the bent spring and asked if it would cause any issues. Their follow up email said they were sending me a new one. Awesome CS is all I can say...

Each to his own of course, but I would not run a bent spring and especially not a bent spring guide unless it was a dire emergency.
Simply replacing the less expensive bad parts is pretty typical for reputable suppliers.
