Hello:

Does anyone else have a RRA Elite Operator II with the stock muzzle break? I find that mine IS NOT a flass suppressor. When I'm at the range it makes a crazy flash signature when I fire. It also makes a lot of wind! Does anyone know if the military spec flash suppressor is legal to buy, you know like the one on the A2?

Yes you can buy an A2 all day long.

Typically you have two different muzzle devices you can get without paperwork (suppressor).  A muzzle brake and a flash suppressor.  I am not super well versed on the subject, but you get either one or the other.  If you want both, go fill out the paperwork and get a suppressor.

Thanks. I don't need a noise muffler of any kind. I just want something that will have less of a flash/dust signature. The A2 muzzle break was great for that, although I will mention that my RRA stock muzzle break configuration is insanely accurate, which might be more important than hiding my position. Whatever!

If you really want flash suppression you really should do more home work as there are several other types/brands on the market that do a far better job than the A2.  One of my favorites is the Smith Vortex.
