Don't use you mags for a rifle rest. You're just asking for malfunctions if you do.
And by the way, for everybody else the reads this, when guys say "FTF' or FTE', do the realize that they can be referring to different types of malfunctions?? FTF can mean Fail to FIRE or Fail to FEED. 2 different types of malfunctions that require different immediate action requirements to get up and running. Same goes with 'FTE'. That can mean Fail to EXTRACT or Fail to EJECT. Specify which it is. |
| So I just went and examined all my mags and it seems all 10 pmags when pressure is put on them slow the bolt down. As compared to my USGI 20rd mags none of them do it. But in my other Ar all the mags fit fine and dont have the problem. So I looks like 20rds front here on out. |

I also rest on my mags in 3gun often as well as a number of other shooters without issues. If we do, find another mag. |

Every AR-related class I've been to or watched has recommended decking the mag when prone. If it causes problems there is something wrong with the gun or mag. With a 9mm or .22 conversion the results might be different, but with regular rifle mags it should never be an issue. |
