Hi all! So I was wondering, if you have a 24" rifle that was bought as a kit, and you buy another upper in 16" would it be necessary to swap the buffer when swapping uppers? The 24" kit is from M&A, no markings on it. Thanks!

Buffer is 5 7/8" in an A2 stock if that matters......
