Hey guys...I JUST got my WMD NiB-x bcg and hammer in yesterday, and God is this thing nice!  Smooth, fantastic quality overall and I can't say enough about how cool Wynn was down there at WMD. However, I am having issues installing the hammer into my gun.  I have a CMMG LPK w/ the 2 stage trigger in my Spikes build.  The WMD hammer is noticably bigger than that of the CMMG and will not fit in the gun at all.  I mean...I can get it pinned in the lower, but it's just too tall.

Do I need to get a different trigger all together in order to be able to used this NiB-x hammer?

The hammer will not work with your CMMG 2 stage. It is a single stage trigger.

The WMD hammer is single stage, it isn't going to work. Just use the trigger you have or get a single stage mil-spec trigger and disconnect.

Thanks a lot, guys.

Sorry...as you can see I'm kind of a newb, but did think that since my trigger is a 2-stage, that has to be the issue.  I haven't seen enough hammers yet to be able to call "which is which."

Way cool name (WMD and all), looks bitchin',  just doesn't work.

Are you gettin' any of this ?
Don't get caught up in the hype or you will get reeled in,  thumped on the head and tossed in the cooler.

Check the EE and pick up a used or swapped out (ie someone buys a geseile) and send the trigger and disco to WMD they will coat them for about $20 and you will end up with a pretty smooth trigger.  I had 4 sets done buy them and they are comperable to the Spikes Battle trigger and almost as crisp as my NiB ALG trigger.

Do you have any experience with the WMD setup?
