Please excuse my lack of knowing but i currently have a PSA 16 inch rifle with a mid-length mapgul handguard.  I am thinking of purchase the YHM diamond rifle length handguard( like the way it looks), anyway what do i need such as special tool or parts to install it?.Thanks in advance

Armorer's wrench, punch set, hammer, AR vise block. YHM will sell you a wrench to tighten their keeper nut, but I usually just use a hammer and a screwdriver to tighten it.

You will also have to switch to a low profile gas block. Either by cutting down your current front sight base or buying a replacement.

Thanks guys, when you mean cutting down front sight, does that mean i would have to remove it because the handguard is too long?

No cutting it down mean milling the post down so the rail fits over it you also have remover the bayonet lug and sling attachment. It is the most secure gas block over set screw or even pinning the lo pro gas block!
