| windham weaponry basic m4 or PSA carbine? WHAT SAY THE HIVE! |
|
the hive thinks THIS
also use code APRILUPS250 for free shipping! LOL |
|
i also agree with this |

Quoted: Quoted: $1100 is way too much for either +1 You can find a 6920 or LMT for this much. OP - the HIVE loves you ... ![]() ... but it is TOUGH love. For $ 1100 - you should be able to find one of the mentioned brands above. I thought the PSA was more in the $ 800 price range and Windham is new to the AR-15 market. |

OP for the price you are posting there are other choices to be had for that kind of money. I personally would shop around for the 2 you listed for better pricing, if those are the 2 you have decided on. The Colt is a good option because of the loyal following and the resale value. Windham is not new to the AR market. They are the original Bushmaster factory and employees under a new name. |

wow that is a hell of a deal right there |
|
+3 The regular 6920 is also $995 although out of stock. No brainer for the Colt. |

DAMN! I missed the free shipping. Oh well. I probably won't sweat it after another 10 or 20 years and however many rounds. |

I'm probably a prime example and was in the same boat as the OP, since I live very close to Windham (I'm sure I'm less than 30 min from them) I also chose between WW and PSA, after a long discussion, and posts by "the hive" and trying to be convinced by the local gunshop to buy their WW over RRA, I chose PSA instead, when I did choose PSA, I chose to build, and not buy a complete rifle, I also then chose a PSA Lower, PSA LPK+Geissele SSA, then a 16'' Mid Upper from PSA also, which initially was not my intention but overall I am happy with building a PSA, great quality and shipped fast, I ordered, received, and built an ar15 all in 11 days time.
If your going the build route there might be a bit of a delay in parts, and shipping, if ur buying complete rifle, you would spend less time building a custom rifle, but will also have a warranty afaik out of the box, and will spend less time for the rifle to get to you (maybe). But again, I chose PSA over WW, and building over complete rifle. My PSA was 960 with shipping, minus $35 transfer fee, used EOTech 552 $300. Nothing against WW, while I'm sure they have a solid quality rifle, I went with building, features, and advice, mostly from this site. If I had to do it all over again, I would probably go BCM/Spikes/RRA/PSA/Colt then consider WW/DPMS/BM Good luck in your purchase and shoot straight. |

I'd rather have the PSA. Im so confused right now it is unreal! ![]() What's the confusion? He just giving his opinion on the two item's the OP listed without inserting his own product, nothing wrong with that and is very typical of badazzar! Very commending. |

This this and this. If I had the cash right now I would buy this colt in a second. It even comes with a vert grip for crying out loud. Sorry I didn't read further my advice save your 1100 bucks and get the heck out of that stupid nanny state that you live in and live free again. |

Honestly, I like the guys at PSA, me picking their shit a part is only going to make them produce a nicer product. It will also make them a stronger company. Yes they have pissed me off, did some stuff I didn't like, made some products in a way which I wouldn't have. But they are good guys, and they build a decent rifle. Between the rifles the OP listed I WOULD rather have the PSA, it has a CMV barrel (most likely FN), M16 carrier, C158 bolt, ect.. Alright I'm done in here, carry on. |

where are you guys finding BCM, LMT or DD complete rifles for $1100? i have seen the Colt for around 1100 but thats it If you go to lmts website you can build one by buying an upper and a lower for right at 1100 plus transfer fee for the lower. That includes handguards. http://www.lmtstore.com/16-upper-receiver-assembly-with-flash-suppressor.html http://www.lmtstore.com/lower-halves/guardian-lower-with-collapsing-stock-and-standard-trigger.html |
