I need some help on which rifle I should get. Right now my price range is about 700 hundred and no I can’t cough up a few hundred more for a colt.

Right now I am looking between a DPMS and RRA.

I can get a DPMS Panther Oracle 5.56 16” for $ 619.99 or a Rock River CAR A4 6-Position Stock 5.56mm NATO 16” BBL for  $759.99

Also this will be my first AR, although I have used them before in Law Enforcement this is the first one that will not be issued to me. I am also not looking to build an AR right now as I will have no clue what I am doing.

Thanks in advance for the help!

RRA makes some very accurate ARs with some of the nicest triggers.
They make a quality AR and have a great warrenty.
I vote RRA.

Don't rule out building your own lower and adding a complete upper; the process is VERY basic and straightforward. The process is covered in detail on this site and others; Brownells has an excellent one.
Also look at Stag arms, I've never had problems w/ the ones I've built.

RRA looks like a good choice. Can't go wrong with the Colt either but yes, you will pay more. Don't forget to budget in extra mags, maybe an optic and ammo. Like your LE guns, they wont be issued either.

This PSA Rifle with Moe furniture and mbus rear sight. You have to scroll down. 2nd one listed for $799.

Palmetto State Armory M4

I would buy it over a DPMS or Rock River.

What about the PSA above it going for $669.99 (Item # PSA-PA-15)?

Who's better, PSA, DPMS, or RRA?

Either one would be fine! The one listed above is out of stock. I would call them and see if they will be getting any more of them in. The one listed above seems like a better deal for what you get.

Rock River. You can save a few bucks by building one yourself. I built mine last year for just under 700
