What I would like to have is a Colt CR 6724. Problem is no one seems to have one in stock. I have seen prices from $1200.00 to $1400.00 for the Colt. I noticed AIM has an R Guns super bull 20" rifle with a NM barrel, stainless steel trigger assembly, flat tom rec. STD buttstock. around $700.00. What do you guys think, wait for the Colt or get the one from AIM? Both have free floating barrels. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mark |

Thanks for the answers. I am looking into the Rock River. I know they are good rifles. I am still very tempted to save about half and go with the R-Guns one from AIM. AIM has never done me wrong, and I have bought a few things from R Guns. I know their customer service isn't the best in the world. Still tempted.
Again Thanks, Mark |

Again Thanks, Mark really I can't say I've read much on R Gun's uppers or rifles. with modern day technology most barrels are pretty good. chances are the blank's are from Wilson or Shaw. As long as the operator cut's that chamber concentric to the bore and it has a nice crown it'll shoot! I have a Red X arms 20" bull upper coming in a few days. I need another upper like a hole in the head......LOL. SIMPLY BECAUSE ........ I can't build an upper for $290.00. I'll slide a carrier asembly and chargin handle in and shoot some 68 hornadys and 69 SMK's and leave a review. so we will see what a cheapo upper with a good handload will do! I paid over $290.00 for the last barrel I'd bought.... LOL so we will see..................... |
