Well, if it's a Colt Umarex M4 .22, which it could be, then it's only overpriced by $250. And that's not a wholesale price which is lower still. ETA To adress the part about people shying away from .22 dedicated AR's, I can't speak for anyone else, but I love mine. It's a Tactical solutions dedicated .22lr on a Cav Arms polymer lower. I haven't weighed it, but I'd guestimate less than 5 pounds. It' runs flawlessly, and is a hoot to shoot for enjoyment, and used for practice on the cheap. Visit the rimfire section, lot of good information there. |
| $700 just sounds like a lot. Love my .22 and put about 300 rounds down range today with it. About 120 5.56. But my complete .22 was $400 (M&P 15-22) and you can argue that it's not a real AR15 platform rifle or that the polymer makes it so it doesn't feel like a 5.56. But again for the price, it's hard to beat. |

Basically set-up to mimic what was once my only AR and is great for training and just having some fun. |

|
Because Umarex is strictly an airgun, rifle and pistol manufacturer. The only thing in common that has with a Colt is name only. That's why they are a lot lower in price. ETA I sit corrected, I said they manufacture airguns only, obviously that's wrong, they do make .22lr guns also |
