Ok everyone, I am brand new to the board and I am ready to be enlightened some on everyones recomendations for my new AR. I bought the DPMS Sportical .223/5.56 NATO. I know its a base model but all of the AR's I see at my local gun shows already have a ton of stuff up there that I dont need or want. I just ordered some of my first items for it, and have already found I screwed up some.
I ordered Magpul hand guard, rails, Magpul Pmags, and Magpul MBUS front and rear. I knew my MBUS would not work on the gas black, but didnt catch that it also will not mount to the Magpul hand guard (this is strange to me). So, I have now caught eye on the UTG MTU001 quad rail. It seems like it will be perfect for the gun without burning a hole in my wallet. I havent looked at a stock or grip yet. I am trying to pace myself due to a budget. I am also looking at the Optics. I tend to like the Burris ar-332 and the Burris Fast fire. I see good reviews on them and again the price isnt horrible. If anyone has any tips for me as to accesories for customizing this piece I would greatly appreciate it. I do a lot of web searching to make sure I am getting the best prices on my accessories but if anyone recommends a great website for one stop shopping with the best prices please let me know.
