| Im sure this topic has been discussed but I couldn't find anything on search. I'm building my first ar and have a bcm upper with a bcm bcg. The bcg came with the optional O-ring. Should I just install this O-ring because it's a upgrade or just leave it be it didn't come with any instructions and this is my first build. |

The O ring will give the spring some support, and increase tension. It would help with the life of the spring. Remove the extractor via the pin, and slip the ring over the spring, as if the spring were the male part  and the o ring... well you get it.
