I have an extra Bushmaster Patrolman's Carbine upper (16", 1/9, CL, flat-top) that I'm unsure of what to do with.  It has about 2000 rds through it.  It has a YHM standard carbine FF rail on it.  The FSB is noticeably canted to the left, but not so much that it couldn't be sighted in properly.  It has been 100% reliable and seems plenty accurate.

I'm debating selling it as is, possibly with or possibly without the BCG (I might keep that as a spare), or parting it out and selling it piecemeal.  Or I could keep it for a .22LR conversion, although with other projects I probably wouldn't get to that for at least a year, maybe more.

So if I sell it as is, what's the consensus on values with and without the BCG, and would it be worth any more parted out?

your going to get good money out of it parted out, but it will be more work. parts are pretty much FLYING off the forums and shelves lately, which i can attest to with my recent build. thats your best option. if you sell it whole with or without the BCG, you wont get as much. keeping it for 22lr conversion is your call.

i would go with parts. seriously, you almost cant buy anything from the forum lately, 10 minutes after posting its gone. totally annoying

If it were me I'd sell the upper and keep the lower...You can always pick up another upper of your choice later on.

I'd say the upper is worth around $350-$400.  Maybe a little more with the way the market is starting to go.
