Hey guys,

I stumbled across this in my dealings with a local parts sale and have never really heard anything about it.  I am curious to hear opinions, experience, what have you on this thing.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Here's a link to the product...

Enidine AR-RESTOR

Thanks

Haven't personally used one, but I'm sure someone here can chime in, but I have read the numerous horror stories that the one thing they consistently do is brake.

I run a Enidine in my m16. It does just that reduces felt recoil and slows cycle rate. If you have what I call a under gassed carbine upper it may not lock the bolt open on the last round. The pic. in the second post is a AAC rate reducer. I found them to be just about worthless. I have 2 of them. Anyone that wants them shoot me an offer. Heres a VID of the 16 with enidine installed with the AAC recoil spring. The man in the pic had never shot a mg before. This shows just how much it reduces rate and most of all recoil.

Are these parts replaceable and does Enidine cover them under warranty?

I'm running one in the girls ultralight 14.5" mid gas, it was free, so I figured I'd give it a whirl.

she had an issue with the buffer at first using brand spankin new thermold mags, the buffer seemed to lack the mass to push the carrier past the slightly oversized feed lips. a couple rounds downrange with a standard buffer and the feedlips wore in, so that was an easy fix. aluminum mags as well as pmags had zero issue.

overall, the buffer seems to spread out the recoil impulse, its not really less, just over a longer period of time. almost like shooting a roller delayed gun (HK91) vs a normal gas gun.

the other thing that I've noticed about the buffer is that the recoil impulse feels like it is coming from a different part of the rifle. almost like the energy is transferred to the shooter where the bolt carrier hits the buffer, it feels like the recoil manifests at the top of the pistol grip, rather than the rear of the stock in your shoulder.

just some things I've noticed.
