I received my NIB Colt LE6920, and noticed the elevation dial did not have a 6/3, 8/3, or "Z" on the flat space. Nothing. I worked fine, but why no markings? Any ideas? Thanks!

pretty sure its not supposed to be like that.
i'd call Colt., or ask in the Colt thread in the Industry Forum.
if it bothers you enough,(it would me).

I just dug out the handle for my LE and it has the marking numbers on it. Call Colt time.

The only Colt I have seen with no elevation knob markings was a 7.62x39 carbine where the markings would have been meaningless.
