I bought a homebuilt AR from someone who was a second owner and wasn't paying attention when they bought it. It is a long longer story but now I am trying to figure out just what I have. It shoots great and I have no complaints about it. With that said here is my question.
The only markings I can find on the upper is a Square shaped C on the right hand side. There is a square but it clearly doesn't have a right side. Maybe this is a casting oops? The barrel says almost nothing. Stamped around the end of the barrel right by the muzzle break written around it "5.56 NATO 1/9" The lower is a "Delaware Machinery" as best I can tell they only made some lowers.
