I have a BCM 20" rifle gas length system upper and a DD 14" Lite FF rail.
The BCM barrel currently has the A2 base with the taper pins. 1. Does anyone make a low profile gas block that will use taper pins I can swap out with the A2 FSB? Thank you |

The pins we cut for that specific FSB. The best thing to do is cut it down into a low profile.
See this how to ( I personally would just knock out the taper pins instead of grinding them |
| Here you go at the bottom of the page how to do it. Assemble Your Own |

hey
I used the "extended" lo pro gas block from PKfirearms.com. It is long enough to cover any taper pin holes and it uses 2 setscrews to secure to the barrel. about halfway down the page: Link

If I don't want to cut and grind my FSB which Low Profile Gas Block should I get? Any you want, but none will work with your taper pins. Since your barrel doesn't have divot, i suggest a clamp on. *Just remember that most gas blocks are made to be a fraction of a inch (The width of the handguard cap) off of the barrel step. |

Take a look at this one: https://danieldefense.com/components-parts/750-clamp-low-profile-gas-block.html
As was posted above the FSB is drilled and pined after it's on the barrel and alligned with the gas port. Trying to swap the block and repin will cause you to end up with your port and block not lined up. The clamp on from DD will solve that issue. . |
