Hey guys, I got a AIM MT041 handguard today from area51tactical and it went on okay I guess but it didnt come with the mounting screws to secure the top and bottom together. Anyone had any experience with these? They went on my Colt M4 Carbine. Im hoping when I find some of the threaded screws that secure the top/bottom together, it will be more stable. After I installed the front foregrip, the bottom handguard seems like it wants to fall off the rail. Thanks all.

It's loose because you don't have the screws needed to secure the rails together as designed. Contact the vendor or manufacturer & request that they be sent to you. Those are UTG/Leapers rails, btw.

Colt uses a different handguard cap than other manufacturers.  The majority of drop-in carbine rails will not fit it properly.  Of course, step one is that screw issue.

Thanks. I have an email off to them, we will see how quickly they respond.

Had the same missing screws problem  with my CAA 6 rail handguard. Contacted CAA and they asked me to return the whole unit and they would supply a new one with screws. Botach the company I purchased the rail from didn't answer my 16 e-mail/phone calls about the missing screws or directions But CAA cs has responded with speed and concern, what a difference .
