I was considering buying one of these because the price is so reasonable, my question is are they a descent quality lower?? any concerns I should have??
Thanks |
| I was skeptical at first because of the price but after buying one I think they are one of the better quality lowers available as far as asthetics. I'm picky and usually use Mega lowers because of the superior finish but my PSA lower is honestly just as nice with the only difference being it has more of a matte finish than the Mega receivers. |

The Mega lowers are actually teflon coated. Oddly enough usually the lower end manufacturers use teflon coating. (CMMG is another manufacturer that does) |

Quoted: Can't beat a lower for 50 bucks. The finish has a flatter colored finish then most. Great lower in my opinion. But they aren't $50 anymore Even at $80 they are fine, but at that price point there are others that are just as good for same price or even a little less, spike's, aero, surplusammo and arms, LRB to name a few, the last three can be found for $59 and $69 various places, spike's can still be found for $79 too |
| I was skeptical too and considered getting another Spikes, but went with PSA during the sale. In all honesty, the the PSA lower I have has a better finish and overall look than the Spikes I have. If I would have bought the Spikes as a stripped lower instead of a complete rifle, I would have wondered if someone sent me a blemmished lower by mistake. Bottom line, when buying online, you might get something with fantastic finish, or it might have a few cosmetic flaws - but both are just fine functionally. Get whichever is cheaper and available, or if you want the roll mark to match the upper you've got, then get that one. You should be good to go on either. |

Well I went into a local shop who had just got in several CMMG lowers at a good price but he sold out in less than a hour, I then asked about the availibility of Spikes and I guess they are still behind. Thats when he told me about the PSA that are coming in once they start to ship again on the 15th. Think I might tell him to hold me one. Quoted:
