I have a Spikes lower with a DPMS trigger assembly (I've already replaced the mag release and selector switch with quality components)

Anyway, today my trigger pin walked out of one of the receiver holes after about 200 rounds of firing. Is this a receiver issue or is the superb "My buddy's uncle has never had a problem with DPMS" trigger to blame?

Basically what I'm saying is, will buying a new quality USGI trigger assembly stop this from happening again or is there an underlying issue?

My bet is the hammer spring legs are under, not on top of, the trigger pin.  It is an easy fix.

Installing the spring incorrectly is easy to do, I did on my 1st build and I'll bet there are more out there there that have but won't admit it.

I just fixed it and the trigger pin isn't going anywhere now.
