I have a DD middy that I'm running a Spike's ST-2 buffer in. The action seems to cycle really slowly, slow enough that you can actually feel the bolt go back into battery after the shot.
Its on an LMT lower w/ sopmod stock. I traded out the factory buffer for the Spike's. It worked fine in the 14.5" middy it was in before. I'm not sure if I need to go with a lighter weight buffer or just need a new spring. Any ideas? |

Spikes sells its middy upper with the St-T2 buffer. Works fine for me with all ammo except Tula., which I never shoot. have an RRA buffer in mine which is the heaviest you can get ... I think 5.6 oz see link below slows everything down, feels smoother and less kick the only problem I have is when using some crappy steel cased russian ammo which is under powered http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=85 |
