I went to a gunshow with my brother today in Oklahoma. This fellow was set up and really working to sell his ar's. I visited with him for a while, and here were some of his quotes:
"Smith and Wesson is crap."
"Mine are much better than the others you'll find."
"I guarantee 0.5 moa out of all of my rifles with 5.56 Federal....a lot of guys are doing better." I said, "0.5 regardless of ammo?" He said, "yes sir." I said, "with Wolf?" He said, "depends on the batch, but probably yes." I said, so I should be able to run 1.5 inch groups at 300 yds with his rifle and xm193? He said, "easily, at least."
On his 7.62x39 ar's, he said they'd shoot "1.5 inch groups at 300 yds all day."
When I asked him about the NCstar rails and scopes on all his guns, he said, "these are exceptionally high quality, I could sell you something more expensive but I've never had a problem..."
When I asked him about the bolt carriers that he says he manufactures, I asked him if he machined them himself, he replied, "well, I outsource many processes."
He said that his rifles, were the "only current production rifles that could handle the "new bumfire technology." The others "just couldn't hold up."
Anybody every actually deal with this dude? He was the highest pressure gun salesman I've ever seen. Even if it was all true, I was annoyed by his demeanor.
