I just picked up a colt BCG. The carrier has the C stamp on it , but the bolt is stamped MPF instead of MPC. I've never seen a bolt stamped MPF. Is the the bolt an actual colt? Has anyone seen a MPF stamp?

+1 FN marks their bolts MPF, some of them are also underlined.

Ground down MPC engraved with large C over it.
MPAC where letter A are month code

It wasn't advertised as being new, was it?

No. It was a used but excellent condition BCG.
The carrier is obviously used, but the bolt looks like it has never been used at all. There's no normal wear on it what so ever.
