I just got a new bcm midlength with daniel defence 12" rail. Is there any way to doible check and make sure that i do have a midlength gas system? Thanks.

You should be able to see it under the handguard. Hold a tape to it and see if it's 9 inches long. If so then you got yourself a middy.

I can see a total of 7.5" of the gas tube. However i have the daniel defence 12" lite rail the bolts up to the upper receiver for a battle zero effect, which covers 1.5" of the gas tube. Im located in knoxville

you have a midlength. otherwise take a picture and post it. You linked to a midlength, you ordered a midlength, you received a midlength. What on earth is a battle zero effect?

How far back from the front of the rail is the gas block? Does it look like the picture? The gas block is clearly visible in the picture.

Count back from the front vent holes between the rail sections.. Your gas block should start right after the first two holes....
Daniel Defense does not have a "c" in it... I see this a lot for some reason but it's Defense.
